The Romanella is a sweet wine with added carbon dioxide, mistakenly called "Sparkling Romanella" is typical of Castelli Romani, sweet, sparkling, low alcohol content which is commonly used in fraschettas and Roman taverns. The quality of Romanella is generally not high, as it is a table wine craft produced by the again fermetion the wine with the addition of sucrose (sugar).
Had this wine in attina years ago and was never able to find it anywhere here in the UK. And thankfully Salumeria can deliver here which I am very grateful for. The bottles were very well packaged.
